Robert PattinsonRobert Pattinson admits he was "curious" about starring in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The Twilight Saga star has been linked with the role of Finnick Odair - known by fans of the Suzanne Collins book trilogy for being the victor of the 65th Hunger Games - and while he was intrigued at the prospect of being offered the part, the 26-year-old actor's agent insists he will not be appearing in the movie.

"I woke up and saw all these things about me being cast in The Hunger Games. I was kind of curious for a second. So I called my agent. My agent was like, 'No.' [My agent] was like no one's going to offer you that part. I was like, thanks for the reassurance."

Production on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set to begin this fall ahead of its planned release date in November 2013, with Francis Lawrence - who worked with Robert on 2011 movie Water For Elephants - set to direct the film.

Chris HemsworthChris Hemsworth is "disappointed" by Arnold Schwarzenegger comparisons.

The Hollywood hunk wants to be seen as more than just an action film star and rejects comparisons with the Terminator actor.

"I got asked the other day, did you always want to be the next Schwarzenegger? I was really disappointed, like I thought, you know, that I'd chosen these scripts and loved them because they had real actors in them and real story and heart, and sometimes with films the action overshadows anything else. It was at a press conference and I looked around and thought, is someone going to defend me? Please!"

Comparisons with the actor-turned-politician stem from Chris's action film track record. The 28-year-old actor - who is currently starring in The Avengers alongside Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson - believes his latest movie, Snow White and the Huntsman is "pretty dark" in parts: "It's certainly a big, summer... film, there are moments of fun and moments of action and also loads of tragedy and it's pretty dark."

Tom HardyTom Hardy doesn't want to compete with Heath Ledger.

The Inception actor has admitted he isn't worried about living up to the late actor's legacy by taking on the role of the villain in the third Batman installment, The Dark Knight Rises.

"That would be putting myself in a competition with somebody who's clearly brilliant. And it's not a question of whose talent is greater or whose work is greater. It's just trying to be the best that we can be. I'm not trying to be better than somebody else. What he did was amazing. That's that. I've got a part I've got to play, and I want to play my part."

Tom portrays muscular comic book super-villain Bane in Christopher Nolan's latest film, while Brokeback Mountain star Heath was awarded a posthumous Best Actor Oscar for his performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight.

The Dark Knight Rises producer, Emma Thomas, said the writers wanted to steer clear of similarities with Heath's iconic Joker character: "We were obviously never going to revisit the Joker, and you don't want to be trying to chase that. It's fun to have a very different sort of villain in this, and a different sort of challenge for Batman to meet, much more physical. It's almost a more even match in some ways, you know, in a physical sense."

Robert RodriguezRobert Rodriguez has "more power" than other directors because he made his first movie himself.

The director started his career with Mexican gun toting guitarist drama Mariachi - which was entirely self funded and had a tiny budget, but became a huge hit - which make him unafraid of Hollywood, because he can always go back to doing it all himself.

"Because I made Mariachi first I always knew that no matter what, I could always go and do that again. They bought that, so [I say to studios] 'make my movie, or I'll just go make it myself.' You always have a lot more power that way because they know you don't need them, so I've always had a lot more luck because of the fact that was my fist movie. That made much more of a statement than had my first film been something that they gave me an opportunity to make, then I would have always been at their service."

Robert is about to make Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, which he will co-direct with comic book artist Frank Miller, and he maintains their version will remain as faithful as possible to the original comics.

Charlize Theron in Snow White and the Huntsman

"I am very good with side nudity. I tend to find that's probably my best kind of nudity. Back is a little too much back; I need an angle. I like angular nudity. I can do a small percentage of one side and the other."

Mads MikkelsenWhile The Avengers continues to rake in the cash at the box office, Disney isn't wasting any time moving forward with its other projects.

In addition to Tom Hiddleston's sadistic, mischevious god Loki, Disney announced the casting of another villain for Thor 2, played by Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen. There is no official word on which character he will be playing (my money is on Surtur or Skurge).

Mikkelsen is probably best known for being the baddie in Casino Royale, but he also starred in Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn's critically-acclaimed Valhalla Rising. Interestingly enough, Mikkelsen's character in the film is named One-Eye, which is the nickname for Norse god Odin (portrayed by Anthony Hopkins in Thor).

Thor 2, directed by Alan Taylor, is expected to hit theaters on November 15, 2013.

The Dark Knight Rises

With all the box office record breaking The Avengers is doing, Warner Bros. wanted to leak a little reminder to movie-goers that they have a blockbuster superhero film coming out, too...

Although the trailer for The Dark Knight Rises hasn't revealed too much about Anne Hathaway's Catwoman, the teaser poster above doesn't look like she'll be serving too much as an ally to Christian Bale's Batman.

The film hits theaters on July 20.

Men in Black 3

Who says lightning can't strike thrice?

Although The Avengers had a good three weeks at the top of the box office, Will Screen's return to the big screen in Men in Black 3 took in $55 million, finally bumping the Marvel flick down to #2. The superheroes, however, didn't go down without a fight, taking in close to $37 million this Memorial Day weekend. Battleship sunk to #3 with $10.8 million while The Dictator fell to #4 with $9.6 million. Horror film The Chernobyl Diaries debuted at number five with $8 million.

Paloma FaithPaloma Faith wants to be a "quirky" actress. The 26-year-old singer - who made appearances in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and St. Trinians - would resort to film work if her music career didn't work out, but she admits she would need some extra lessons first.

"I'd moonlight as an actress, in Christina Ricci's roles if I wasn't a musician. I'd like to be an actress. That would be my plan B. I'd want to be cast in the sort of roles that Christina Ricci gets - quirky, avant garde and a little bit disjointed. I really loved her in Buffalo '66 and Monster. I'd probably have to look into theatre school first, though."

Paloma, however, would not find it too hard to enter the world of acting, as she used to play a lot of make-believe as a child: "When I was a child, I used to eat my dinner on the pavement outside our house in London. We didn't have a garden and there wasn't a lot of green space so my mum would put out a little table and tablecloth out on the pavement and pretend it was a restaurant. A little imagination goes a long way!"

Charlize TheronCharlize Theron almost dropped out of Snow White and the Huntsman when she knew she was going to become a mother.

The 36-year-old actress adopted her son Jackson, now six months, in March and is pleased she decided against pulling out of the film because she now thinks becoming a parent to the little boy has made her a more creative person.

"When I first heard my son was coming into my life, I didn't want to make the film. But having him has changed me and made me a lot more creative as a person. I love being a mum so much. There's nothing better than rolling around with the baby in my PJs," she said.

Charlize recently admitted she never expected to be a single parent but always wanted to adopt: "You know, I don't think any mother aims to be a single mom. I didn't wish for that, but it happened. I always knew I would adopt. Always."
